Mokaikai 41 is a “Whole-owner” property on the exclusive Mokaikai Private Nature Reserve, part of the malaria free Mabula Game Reserve, which is about two hours’ drive from Johannesburg.We have traversing rights to carry out game drives over the entire Mabula Game Reserve, which has an abundance of wildlife, including cheetah, wild dog, elephant, rhino, buffalo, giraffe and many species of antelope. It is also possible to have sightings of other game such as leopard, brown hyena, aardvark, aardwolf, serval, civet, genet and others. Birdlife is prolific. The wildlife is free to move through the unfenced lodges and we have elephants drinking from the pool on occasion.

The self-catering lodge is fully equipped and serviced daily. We have a game drive vehicle on site and traversing rights over the entire Mabula Game Reserve. This is not a commercial lodge and visits are by invitation only.
Approx 33 km from Bela Bela turn right - there are signs for Mabula & Zebula.
Follow this road, when the tar road turns right to Mabula, keep straight onto the gravel.
Approx 11km from the turnoff from the Thabazimbi road, Mokaikai gate is on your right.
After you enter the gate, fork right after about 40-50m (don't turn right onto the 1st road at the gate).
After 0,9km fork to the left, follow the road up the hill about 300m, turn left and proceed to Mokaikai 41 on your right.
